An update on my testing so far...
I've not encountered any problems during the installation or execution of PalOMoney.
The "Say OK" tool works nicely, but since I use the Combine OFX statements feature of Pocketsense now, only one Acknowledgement is required.
I'm really not a good candiate for testing PatchOMoney because I've already patched my Money dll using Cal

TestersAnother alternative might be to use an interface similar to Moneydance tying into their database which is updated often.

Feature RequestsI'm not a developer, but I happened to stumble on the possible source of links in Money Plus to the MSN servers that might be used to redirect to alternative solutions. In MNYCoreFIles/WebCache is a file rooturl.xml that reveals the following:
Quote<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

Feature RequestsI've tried to edit 2013 Head of Household table and hit OK, but if I go back to that table in PalOMoney or Money, the old values remain.

Feature RequestsNow we're getting somewhere :)
I agree that the uninstall feedback issue is not a high priority. Actually, this time I ran the msi, there was no delay issue like last time.
I like how the securities can be toggled from Online to Manual and back - so using that feature, I've set all the securities to Manual other than those that I want (Yahoo) quotes for. and the quotes work nic

TestersJust to let you know, I'm still not getting any email notifications of forum updates, so I only find out about your replies when revisiting the forum. And NO, they are not in my Junk Mail folder :)

TestersOK, I may not be the best person to ask regarding Currency Exchange, but if I click on Manual Update prices for some 2008 3-month CDs in Aussie dollars, all of the buy & sell prices are listed in AUD$ (Australian dollars) just like they would be for stocks, but I don't see any MSN online updates for currency exchange. From the Help files...

Feature RequestsI just threw the thought out there for you, since I'm quite sure this is how the tables show up. This would assure that the database links are setup properly vs. forcing a new table in, although it appears you are quite familiar with the database :)
I don't actually use Money's tax estimator myself, but there are a few users that do. It doesn't seem to handle Schedule A &

Feature RequestsJust throwing another idea out there to expand PalOMoney's usefulness:
Being able to update Currency Exchange Rates like Money used to do. This comes in very handy when buying World Currency CDs from Everbank as an example. I used to have some in Australian Dollars and Canadian Dollars.

Feature RequestsJust an idea, but a safe way to add a (outdated) table for 2014 might be to change the date of the PC and open up Money. Then you would be editing the table rather than creating one.
Or use this method to test out your created table :)

Feature RequestsQuoteThis is what I did:
Set the Portfolio Online Status selector to "Manual." The list displays only those securities for which I cannot get online quotes.
Clicked on a security in the list.
Pressed Ctrl+Enter. Nothing happened here.
I agree, but it seems to me that after I hit Update then the Status changed to Manual for the selected securities.
(I'm not positive though,

TestersQuoteThank you for discovering this obscure bug. The key was the "Could not open engine, error 80040154" display in the command prompt window, but not in the log file. I didn't realize that MoneyPal had never worked for you. A new version of MoneyPal will be available...
I'm finally getting quotes now :) But because I used the Manual option before, when I right-click the s

TestersOK, I've installed the newest version and made some headway, but still no quotes show up in the Portfolio screen.
1) The 1.0.3.b .msi does indeed uninstall the old version on its own, which explains why no acknowledgement window appears for a 1½ minutes after opening. If there is an option to present a window stating that an uninstall is in process, that would be better. Sorry, I didn

TestersThis is my 3rd request. You keep saying 1.0.3.b is available, but it isn't. You then say "please request it again". I have. GRRRRRRR.
My Downloadable Products shows PalOMoney Experimental Rev 1.0.3-a Debug -- Windows Installer as available, but it errors out because it should be the "b" version. You stated you'd send link via email but I've never recei

TestersQuoteI am assuming the securities you don't wish to have a quote for have the mentioned broker account number in the Symbol column. If not, there is some bug here.
Account numbers are not in my symbol columns, but rather unique product id numbers specific to the Broker. Actually, the symbols can usually be deleted, because it's the internal encoded symbol that is actually used for matc

TestersI believe the rates shown have been "frozen" since 2010 or so. You should also note that they can not be changed from within Money, except for "Custom".
I think it might turn into a nightmare if you were to try and also include state tax rates, but you're right - it would be nice. This would involve redoing how Money calculates estimated taxes.

Feature RequestsOK, I've installed 1.0.3-a and have yet to get any quotes, but the download did save itself as a msi file this time the password feature does work now

TestersOK, my previous error is resolved. Now that I had more confidence in PalOMoney, I installed it on my own PC. but have run into new issues:
When running the program first-time, the Quote Sources don't show up as the ini file isn't created until the first exit, so I added this to the Help page.
None of my internal quote sources work, so I proceeded in adding YahooExtQuoteCSV as a py

TestersThe "test" PC is WinXP SP3 without the Money program installed, just a copy of the password-protected Money data file, which may be why I git the error. The lone entry in the log file is:
2013-02-09_17-39-41=Error 2 locating Money installation
So now it looks like I'll have to install Sunst Money and remove the data file passord....

TestersWell, it took me a while to find the msi file today as the file saved itself as a .doc file rather than a .msi file. I renamed the download and copied it over to a test PC, ran the install and tried opening a copy of my .mny file. I immediately got an error message:
