Use this topic to request support for SayOk, automatic window closer utility.
Here is an initial bug report. Comment on this, or on an entirely different matter.
Summary: SayOk Multiply Reports Windows
Description: The SayOk auto-closer system tray applet monitors the desktop for windows that have a specified title. The default title is "File import complete." The tray and window (if not minimized) displays a count of windows closed, plus the window text for each closed window (unnecessary for the MS Money dialog, which regrettably contains no additional information). The count increments multiple times for some window instances.
In addition, there is excessive flickering in the MS Money Statement view display. This may or may not be related to this issue.
Steps To Reproduce
1) Use PalOMoney to download some statements into the MS Money import queue. Note how many statements are downloaded (e.g., 10).
2) Open SayOk. Optionally, restore the window if minimized. No windows have been closed yet.
3) Open MS Money. Observe flickering and multiple counts for each window closed. Counts as high as 100 (10x) have been observed.
Additional Information
Cosmetic impact only. The system functions correctly, except for excessive flickering on the part of MS Money, which may not be related.
