I'm not a developer, but I happened to stumble on the possible source of links in Money Plus to the MSN servers that might be used to redirect to alternative solutions. In MNYCoreFIles/WebCache is a file rooturl.xml that reveals the following:
It couldn't be so simple as to plug in new urls, could it?

Yes, this could work on Money 2008 but not Sunset. Version 1.0.5 implements OFX Statement downloads, which perhaps could be configured to work with and enable Microsoft Money Background Banking. The PalOMoney.com subscription service product (hidden) could handle possibly some of these requests. I doubt any other organization would support Money. Also, the MoneyPal updater supports the Microsoft MSN download api and service via an "Easter Egg" interface. It was working when last tested in November, 2012.
